We can stop worrying now.  I know everyone was extremely concerned when we informed you early Thursday morning that Dez Bryant was reportedly involved in an altercation with rapper Lil’ Wayne and his entourage.  Rumor had it Weezy’s boys were making fun of Bryant’s financial issues.  Shame on them.  In any event, Bryant says there is no issue and wants people to stop talking about it.

“Let’s quit with the false stories now….me and this man don’t have a problem with one another lol,” Bryant tweeted on Thursday according to NBCDFW.com.

But wait — a trip over to Bryant’s Twitter page will tell you that the tweet has since been deleted.  It was just an assumption to begin with that Bryant was talking about Lil’ Wayne, but the fact that he deleted the tweet makes the situation a little more puzzling.

Does he have a problem with Weezy and his people after all?  Is there some sort of potential lawsuit that resulted in Dez being advised to remove the tweet.  Did the big bad commish order him to ignore the reports rather than responding to them?  Maybe Bryant should try to sue Lil’ Wayne.  Weezy has plenty of money, and it sounds like Dez could use some help paying off his debts.
