My Sports Rumors:
That’s the million dollar question right now, did Ryan Grant and his agent meet with the Detroit Lions today. Last week Grant’s agent, Alan Herman, told the Detroit Free Press that his client was going to meet with the Lions on Monday and was close to a contract. Two different reporters in Detroit have both reported that Grant and his agent were a no show on Monday and now the debate on what’s going on has ensued.
If running back Ryan Grant visited the Lions training facility Monday, he was in disguise or he came after nightfall.
Although his agent told The Detroit News last week that the Lions had made Grant an offer and he would visit the facility Monday, apparently that didn’t happen. If Grant met with Lions’ officials, it was either Sunday night or it was away from Allen Park. (Chris McCosky – The Detroit News)
It is unclear if Grant met Detroit’s coaching staff on Sunday instead of Monday or if the trip was canceled. (Anwar S. Richardson – MLive)

Former Green Bay Packers running back Ryan Grant is showing off his elusiveness this offseason. And while he’s never been known as anything but a runner who seeks out contact, you wouldn’t have guessed it from his and his agent’s shiftiness concerning the Lions.
Last Thursday, Grant’s agent, Alan Herman, told the Detroit Free Press via text message that Grant would be...
In 2011, the Detroit Lions exceeded the expectations of many, starting the season 5-0 and eventually making the playoffs for the first time in a long time. After the Lions’ first postseason appearance in 12 years, it is now my job to try and guess how this team will fare in 2012.
Detroit returns almost their entire roster, with the biggest departure being corner Eric Wright. ...

EA Sports revealed the Calvin Johnson Madden 2013 cover on Tuesday which the Detroit Lions official site provided. What do you think? Will Johnson have the "Madden Curse" this season?
EA Sports released the official cover of its Madden 13 video game on Tuesday. As you know by now, it features Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson. The cover also features two Detroit landmarks – Ford Field, the home of the Lions, and the Renaissance Center.
Johnson won the honor by winning a 64-man tournament. As a six seed, he beat out Chiefs receiver Dwayne Bowe, Texans...
In an exclusive interview that's the basis for a lengthy feature in Packer Report Magazine, Packer Report talked to new center Jeff Saturday. While most observers assumed Saturday would follow Peyton Manning to Denver, Saturday had several reasons why he chose Green Bay.
What did the Packers see in Casey Hayward? Read the NFL's official report and you'll understand why general manager Ted Thompson vaulted back into the second round. This is not some scouting report from a guy watching YouTube videos. This is the real deal, delivered to the teams.
While any move probably depends on the play of the safeties and other cornerbacks, Charles Woodson said he is willing to move from cornerback, where he has been elected to four consecutive Pro Bowls.
