Found October 30, 2012 on Sports Blog Net:
The last time the Chicago Bears came back from a deficit of 12 or more points in the fourth quarter to win was on Nov. 25, 2007. Strangely enough it was against the Jay Cutler led Denver Broncos. The Bears trailed 34-20 with 10:38 left in the final quarter on that winter day at Soldier Field. WR/KR Devin Hester provided the Bears with their only two touchdowns up to that point. First, he took a punt 75 yards for a score and then he took a kickoff 88 yards for a score, both coming in the third quarter. Videos of those returns are embedded in the last sentence. Rex Grossman was under center for the Bears as he set up two scoring drives to tie the game up. With 5:17, Adrian Peterson punched the ball in from the four-yard line. Then with 0:58 seconds left, Grossman found WR Bernard Berrian on fourth-and-gaol in the back of the end zone for a three-yard touchdown to tie the game at 34. The Bears won the coin toss in overtime and K Robbie Gould drilled a 39-yarder to win the game 37-34. Both this past Sunday's comeback and 2007's comeback were capped off by Robbie Gould game winning kicks. Very fitting. Cutler now has 13 career fourth-quarter comebacks to his name, six of the coming with the Bears.   Jake Perper is the owner and head writer for Bearsbacker.com. Jay Cutler Appreciation Week: In Celebration of Jay, The Humble Dog Owner

Yesterday, we kicked off Jay Cutler Appreciation Week with a look at Jay’s most notorious douchebag moments. It was nothing short of glorious. But today is a different day, so we must move on. Despite all the flak Cutler gets for supposedly being arrogant and having a bad attitude, I know he’s a good guy because he’s a dog owner. A bad person doesn’t take the task of picking...

Jay Cutler appears to swear at Bears fans for booing at halftime

The Chicago Bears did not play particularly well against the Carolina Panthers until the fourth quarter on Sunday. A game that many expected to be a rout looked like a sure upset through the first three quarters. Chicago trailed 13-7 at halftime after playing particularly poorly on offense, and the fans let them hear it on their way into the locker room. This did not please Jay Cutler...

Jay Cutler To Grow Whiskers, Because He Is A Cat

Chicago Bears Post Game Quotes Week 8 vs. Carolina Panthers: Jay Cutler

Jay Cutler, QB On if ribs were affected at all today “Ah no. Didn’t really feel them. No one played well. I didn’t play well. It starts with me. Offensively, those first three and a half quarters were just ugly. Getting good field position, defense was fighting their butts off (offense) just couldn’t get it going.” On if they took the run away from them...

Bears looking to get offense untracked

(Eds: Updates. With AP Photos.) Quarterback Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears offense struggled enough against Carolina to elicit boos from Soldier Field fans, and receive a poor review of their inconsistency a day later from coach Lovie Smith. Brian Urlacher: If the fans can say whatever they want, why can’t we?

Jay Cutler has been taking some heat over the past few days after it appeared that he swore at Chicago Bears fans on his way to the locker room before halftime of a win over the Carolina Panthers. The Bears offense had played poorly and the fans were booing, so it made sense to think that. Of course, Cutler denied blasting the fans and said he was simply angry with the way he and...

Bears survive scare vs. Carolina Panthers

The Chicago Bears should consider themselves lucky to come away with a 23-22 victory against the Carolina Panthers at home in Week 8. Robbie Gould nailed a 41-yard field goal as time expired to give the Bears (6-1) the win. The win keeps Chicago ahead in the NFC North by two in the loss column and from an embarrassing loss against a team that has only won one game this season...

Chicago Bears: Week 9 NFL Power Rankings (#3)

Last week: 1 (-2) Record: 6-1 I’m moving the Bears out of the #1 spot barely this week because I wasn’t impressed with their near home loss to the Panthers and because the Falcons looked good against the Eagles. However, the Falcons still haven’t really played anyone that’s any good and they almost lost at home to the Raiders. The Bears’ one loss was on Thursday Night and...

Chicago Bears Escape With a Win Over The Carolina Panthers
