One of the many reasons to anticipate a Super Bowl game is because we just don’t know what might happen. We could see – and have seen – superstars perform amazing feats, and we could also see some very unexpected and unlikely performances from players that we didn’t think had it in them.
It’s hard to predict what underrated players might wind up a hero on Sunday in Super Bowl XLVI, but chances are pretty good at least someone will surprise us.

Darnell Dockett, Arizona Cardinals, Super Bowl XLIII
A 3-time Pro-Bowl selection, Darnell Dockett has had a fine career. The third-round pick out of Florida State has 34.5 sacks, 159 tackles and 4 INT during his eight-year career in Arizona. Dockett has recorded as many as 9 sacks in a season (2007), although he had only 4 sacks during the 2008 campaign.
