After eight pretty successful seasons with the St. Louis Rams, Marc Bulger spent last year with the Baltimore Ravens. But because of Joe Flacco’s success, Bulger hasn’t thrown a pass in an NFL game since the 2009 season. Still, according to the Miami Herald’s Armando Salguero, Bulger could be the answer to the Dolphins’ quarterback quandary.
During his weekly appearance on Salguero’s radio show, NFL Network’s Jason LaCanfora said that the Ravens were impressed by Bulger last season and are worried that there could be competition for his services.
“I have some pretty good sources on the Ravens,” he said. “When I talked to people there they were very impressed with Bulger. They told me when he’s on the field and running the offense, the ball often doesn’t hit the ground … They believe he’s going to be a very good quarterback in 2011.
