Miami Dolphins coach Joe Philbin in unsure of the status of quarterback Ryan Tannehill for Week 9. When the rookie left the game with an injury Matt Moore stepped in and Dolphins went on to a 30-9 win. Speaking at the post game press conference Philbin said he never thought about allowing Tannehill to return against the Jets. Would the coach let Tannehill play if he was not 100 percent next week?  “You have to make a decision: Can the guy function and do the job asked of him? Either he can do the job or he can’t. You would love the guy to be 100 percent.” The Dolphins are awaiting the results of an MRI but are optimistic that the injury to their starter is not serious. Philbin was happy about the play of Moore. “I’m happy for him. The guy’s a professional. He’s extremely well respected by the staff and the players in the locker room.
