Dolphins DT Tony McDaniel Out With Leg Injury

With Tony McDaniel missing Wednesday's practice because of a leg injury, the Miami Dolphins wasted little time in adding depth to the defensive line.

The Dolphins re-signed familiar face Ryan Baker to the 53-man roster and added rookie Chas Alecxih to the practice squad to prepare for McDaniel's possible absence. McDaniel has been bothered by a leg injury he sustained in the preseason opener.

He aggravated it during last Sunday's 30-10 loss to the Houston Texans in the season opener. McDaniel plays regularly in the defensive tackle rotation, so finding a replacement is a priority.
