Pro Sports Daily:
Offensive tackle Jonathan Martin officially signed with the Dolphins. The four-year, $4.9875 million deal was originally reported May 22. The 42nd overall pick out of Stanford, Martin was a three-year starter and a finalist for the Lombardi Trophy last year. He is competing at right tackle with Lydon Murtha this offseason. He has never played right tackle but is considered a polished athlete capable of making the change. It'd be surprising if he struggled to acclimate to the NFL playbook, considering Martin picked Stanford over Harvard, the alma mater of his parents, grandparents and one of his great grandparents. There were teams that rated Martin as a first-round pick. However, others believed he didn't show the toughness or consistent strength to be drafted in the top 32 picks.

So Peyton Manning says no to Dolphins, Broncos and Manning say no to Hard Knocks, and, like love-scorned phoenixes rising from the flames of heartbreak, the two find each other.
Don’t worry, HBO can’t be too sad. They will get to feature a first-time head...

The 2012 Dolphins make up an interesting story heading into the upcoming season. Miami selected
The offseason is the time of the year where 32 separate fanbases all believe the same thing. Their team can rise to the top of the NFL, and win the Lombardi Trophy. Of course, 31 of those fanbases turn out to be wrong in the end, and about 15 of them aren't living in the real world, but that's not their concern is it?
The Miami Dolphins have become the poster-team for this...
