The Miami Dolphins have been trying all winter long, well, at least ever since their season ended, to try and correct the wrong that was their coaching staff.
In tha past two weeks, the Dolphins have added a new offensive coordinator, and now a offensive quality control coach, special teams assistant, quarterbacks coach, assistant and head wide receivers coach, and are preparing for the departure of assistant head coach Todd Bowles.
To fill the voids of the offensive quality control, vacated by Steve Bush, who was moved to wide receivers coach, head coach Tony Sparano’s oldest son, Tony Jr., will be coming in, after serving as an assistant for the Hartford Colonials.
Also, with former quarterbacks coach David Lee going back to the college ranks to serve as an offensive coordinator, former Dolphins wide receivers coach Karl Dorrell will be stepping in as the new quarterbacks coach, despite the fact that he has never been in charge of the quarterbacks in his coaching career.
Because of Dorrell stepping in for Lee, the Dolphins have moved Steve Bush, who was the former quality control coach, over to head wide receivers coach, with former New York Giants receiver Ike Hilliard coming in as an assistant.
