Atlanta defensive end John Abraham, one of the league’s elite pass-rushing specialists, visited with the Dolphins earlier today and is now on his way to New England. Apparently the Dolphins, who lost on their bid to sign Tampa Bay defensive Michael Bennett, are staying aggressive in their search for a pass rusher to play opposite defensive end Cam Wake. Abraham, a 13-year veteran who had 10 sacks last season and has 32.5 sacks in the past three seasons, would undoubtedly add punch the Dolphins’ pass rush. He has 122 career sacks, which is tied for 13th on the all-time list. By comparison, former Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor is sixth with 139.5 career sacks. Source: Sun Sentinel
