Found August 28, 2012 on Kissing Suzy Kolber:
As you can tell from write-up, I wasn’t too enthused with last week’s installment of “Hard Knocks”. It started with minor fallout to the decision to cut Chad Johnson, followed by 55 minutes of narrative about borderline roster casualties plus Ryan Tannehill being named starting QB by a mildly prickly Joe Philbin. Again, not necessarily things that are pointless but not exactly great TV, either. Going into this week, you should expect footage of the back-room dealings that led to the Vontae Davis trade to the Colts. At first, I considered this a potentially watchable development for this week, but then I remembered that this could very well lead to a Jim Irsay cameo on the show. No one should be subjected to a show featuring Peter King and Jim Irsay within a four-episode span. We do know that former basketball playing, horrible blocking tight end Les Brown got cut, so fingers crossed his hot girlfriend got sexy to console him in a room where HBO leaves its hidden cameras. Obviously...

Ryan Tannehill doesn’t know the NFL divisions or understand why Miami is in the AFC East

As a rookie in the NFL, Ryan Tannehill still has a ton to learn. Between memorizing the plays, adjusting to lifestyle changes and dealing with an incredibly steeper level of competition, the transition from college to the pros is always a challenge for any rookie quarterback. However, most rookies likely already know what division every team is in. Understanding the geography of...

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill is confused over NFL divisions (Video)

You would think that an NFL rookie quarterback would be able name some of the other NFL teams and the divisions that they play in but Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill has no clue whatsoever. Watch as he attempts to name the entire NFC North but fails to come up with a single team in this clip from Hard Knocks: To be fair, Ryan's "not a huge pro fan"...

Ryan Tannehill thought the Chiefs were in the NFC East

Getty During Tuesday night’s Hard Knocks episode on HBO, it was revealed that Dolphins rookie quarterback<a href=""I wasn't a huge pro fan growing up; I wasn't loyal to any one team," said Tannehill, "so I don't really know the divisions, and even really conferences. Jim Irsay Has Twitter Meltdown After Being Made Fun of For BIG Vontae Davis Trade

I don’t know why people take Jim Irsay’s Twitter account so seriously. It is filled with hyperbole and nothing to get excited over. It was never going to be a blockbuster trade, now matter how much the wind was blowing. It was a nice trade, it was newsworthy, but it wasn’t anything earth shattering. I [...] [[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website for full links...

NFL Preseason Preview: Cowboys vs. Dolphins

The NFL odds look to be in the Cowboys’ favor for their preseason finale against Ryan Tannehill and the Miami Dolphins, but stranger things have happened, especially in exhibition play. Dallas is coming off a 20-19 win last week over the St. Louis Rams, though the score looked much closer than it really was. The Cowboys were actually up 17-3 after the first quarter and 20-6 at...

Ryan Tannehill doesn't know his NFL divisions on Hard Knocks

The buzz surrounding Hard Knocks has dissapated since the dramatic release of Chad Johnson from the Miami Dolphins.  On this week's episode though we got a classic Hard Knocks moment showing Dolphins rookie QB Ryan Tannehill channeling his inner Ryan Lochte.  Watch as Tannehill tries to vaguely guess which NFL team is in which NFL division, saying the Kansas City Chiefs...

Looking Back : Should The Dolphins have passed on Hard Knocks

Today on ESPN Radio, hosts Mike Salk and John Kincade took turns taking shots at the Dolphins after last night'sepisodes Hard Knocks.  Whether it was Vontae David calling his Grama or Ryan Tannehill not knowing the NFL divisions, the two ESPN radio hosts thought that last night's episode was another reason why the Hard Knocks and the Dolphins might not be the best fit....

Dolphins robbed the Colts in Vontae Davis trade

Someone call the police, the Miami Dolphins have robbed the Indianapolis Colts of a second round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. The 10 Best Moments From The Fourth Episode Of Dolphins ‘Hard Knocks’

This week’s episode of “Hard Knocks” was a vast improvement over the week before. Even if this season suffers for a lack of big personalities, the series is always able to tease quotes and tidbits out of players that we can use to make fun of them for the rest of the season, if not longer. And so it will be with Ryan Tannehill not knowing how the NFL divisions and conferences...

Who Stood Out In The Dallas Cowboys Final Preseason Game Against The Dolphins?

The Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins squared off on Wednesday night in Arlington in both teams final preseason game for 2012. It was the final game before Dallas and Miami make their roster cuts down to 53 players. Typically in the final preseason game the starters sit while the second and third team players see extensive playing time so the coaches can better evaluate them. Ryan...

Colts trade for Vontae Davis

Colts’ owner Jim Irsay said on twitter recently that the team was going to make a big move, and they did just that by trading for Dolphins’ corner back Vontae Davis. Davis had fallen out of favor with the Dolphins, and was acquired by the Colts for the price of a second round pick and a conditional sixth rounder. The Colts badly needed to shore up their defense, and if Davis...
