Sporting News reports that it sounds as if you are going to see a lot of Tim Dobbins, the new Dolphin who was acquired in a draft day deal with San Diego:
Dolphins coach Tony Sparano says he has big plans for new inside linebacker Tim Dobbins, who was acquired in a draft-day trade with San Diego. Dobbins, 27, will play on all four special teams units and is expected to share time with Channing Crowder on defense alongside Karlos Dansby. “This guy was an active player out there in his number of plays, played somewhere around 357 or 347 snaps during the course of the season,” Sparano told The Palm Beach Post. “Played a few different positions. Had some position flexibility and was darn good on all special teams. So we looked at a player here that in my mind had a pretty clear vision of being able to get some solid plays at the game from in whatever the package might be.”
