Miami Dolphins have traded for left tackle Bryant Mckinnie from the Baltimore Ravens, according to Fox Sports Jay Glazer. The Miami Dolphins, who’ve been dealing w o-line trouble, have traded with the Ravens for Bryant McKinnie according to Ravens sources — Jay Glazer (@JayGlazer) October 21, 2013 This move didn’t catch anybody by surprise, because the Dolphins offensive line has been struggling especially right tackle Tyson Clabo. Clabo is being ranked by Pro Football focus 68th best tackle in the NFL and has allowed eight quarterback sacks this year. He has also allowed 20 quarterback hurries and four quarterback hits. Clabo allowed Ryan Tannehill to get sack twice and hurried seven times against the Buffalo Bills. Mckinnie hasn’t played ever since the Ravens traded for Eugene Monroe and was inactive for Sundays’ game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pro Football Focus has Mckinnie rated as the 67th best tackle in the NFL and it’s hard to understand how he will help out the o-line. The Dolphins offensive line has allowed 26 sacks in seven games, including two allowed from Clabo. Mckinnie attended the University of Miami starting his junior and senior season as a left tackle. He received first-team All-American honors in 2000 and finished 8th in the Heisman Trophy voting.Mckinnie was drafted by the Minnesota Viking in the 2002 NFL draft with the seventh overall pick.He started every game for the Vikings from 2003-2007 and started in 80 consecutive games. He was elected to a pro-bowl in 2009 and was the starting left tackle during the Ravens playoffs run.
