According Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins haven’t extended RB Reggie Bush a contract offer yet. Jackson adds that Bush would “love to stay with the Dolphins,” but the team is apparently focused on other issues right now. Bush, 27, figures to test the open market next month, as previous reports have indicated that the Dolphins may only have interest at their price. There’s already been a lot of talk about Lamar Miller taking on a much larger role in 2013, so there’s really no point in overpaying Bush when you have a potential replacement with long-term value already on your roster. The Bengals and Lions have been tossed out as speculative options for Bush. We have him listed as the No. 45 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.   According to the Miami Herald, the Dolphins have yet to make free agent Reggie Bush an offer.   There’s still over a month to go before the start of free agency, but it’s a poor sign for Bush’s Dolphins future. The local consensus has been that Bush will be offered a “team-friendly” deal, but allowed to reach the open market. CBS’ Jason La Canfora has reported Bush is “highly unlikely” to be back. The way things are trending, Bush’s “team-friendly” offer may never even materialize. The post Dolphins Have Yet To Offer RB Reggie Bush A New Contract appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.
