According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins are interested in Indianapolis Colts defensive end Robert Mathis, who’s scheduled to hit free agency once the new league year begins on March 13th. The Dolphins know that Mathis might command a lot of money on the open market, which could keep them from signing him.  But it would be a good idea to acquire another good pass rusher like Mathis alongside Cameron Wake.
