Controversy follows Brandon Marshall to Chicago

New Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall isn't a stranger to controversial situations. His latest became public knowledge late last night. It's hard not to make assumptions based on his past, but remember every story has different sides to it. This much can be agreed upon; There was an altercation at a New York nightclub early Sunday morning. The rest is up to the authorites...

Dolphins out of the Peyton Manning sweepstakes

According to Jeff Darlington of the NFL Network, on Thursday, Peyton Manning informed the Miami Dolphins that he won’t be signing with them. It looks like the Dolphins were never in the lead to land Manning, and did their best to help build his interest with them, by having some former and current players, such as Dan Marino, Reggie Bush and Jason Taylor try to sell him on playing...

Brandon Marshall Still The NFL’s Chris Brown

When the Brandon Marshall trade first broke yesterday, many observers looked deep for the hidden hand of Manning (PHRASING!) because dispensing of an albeit difficult star receiver was surely just the machinations of free agent Pey-Pey trying to mold the Dolphins roster to meet his desires. Marshall is accused of punching a woman – who was celebrating her birthday, no less â€...

Brandon Marshall accused of punching another girl in the face right before trade to the Bears

Talk about timing! Just hours after the Bears acquired Brandon Marshall from the Dolphins, the New York Post reported that the wide reciever punched a girl in the face at a club on Sunday in New York City. The Dolphins claim they didn't know about the incident when they shipped his ass to Chicago for two second round picks. (Yeah right, suuurrre ya didn't) Now Marshall could...

Dolphins trade setting the table for Manning? Or is it just setting up for failure?

Lets start with yesterday’s news, the Dolphins have traded Brandon Marshall to Chicago for a couple draft picks. I like it. While I think Marshall is one hell of a talent, he found himself dropping passes and running his can more than he was winning games for the Dolphins. (Add to that he had an altercation outside of a New York nightclub this past weekend) One possible reason...

Brandon Marshall reportedly punched woman at New York nightclub

Just say it wasn't me T.. NFL star wide receiver Brandon Marshall, and newest member of the Chicago Bears, allegedly slugged a woman at a New York nightclub just days before the Miami Dolphins traded him to the Chicago Bears — Marshall was at Marquee in Chelsea early Sunday when he got into an argument with a group of friends –  Marshall and an unknown athlete were being...

From Manning to Flynning

Despite opening the Peyton Manning free agent sweepstakes as the early favorites, per Adam Schefter and the rest of the twitter world, Manning contacted the Dolphins to inform them he will not be joining their team. It has been 13 years since the Dolphins have had a true franchise QB, and the QB needy Dolphins fan base all thought Peyton was finally the guy to come fill in the shoes...

In case you missed it: Brandon Marshall to Chicago but there is a catch

((ht: nypost.com))Brandon MarshallOn the surface, it was a trade that made us ((well...ok...me)) say "Huh"? The Miami Dolphins trade their best receiver and one of the best in the NFL to the Chicago Bears for a couple of 3rd round picks.Yes, Marshall has a somewhat "Shady" reputation due to multiple run-ins with the law.And he has apparently added to that list...

Richard Marshall announced Wednesday he signed a three-year deal with the Miami Dolphins. “Just agreed with the dolphins on a 3 yr deal they made me stay in Miami lol,” Marshall said via Twitter. ESPN.com reported the deal was worth $16 million, including $6 million guaranteed. Marshall visited the Dolphins’ training facility in Davie on Wednesday, according to a team spokesman...

Miami Dolphins Traded Brandon Marshall for Attitude, Not For Peyton Manning

The Miami Dolphins traded embattled wide receiver Brandon Marshall to the Chicago Bears yesterday for two third round draft picks. They did so just two seasons after acquiring him from the Denver Broncos for two second round picks and a boat load of money, which seems a bit curious, at the very least. Once the deal was announced yesterday, many Dolphins were left scratching...

Bears, Dolphins Were Aware Of WR Brandon Marshall Incident

Late last night, reports surfaced that wide receiver Brandon Marshall, traded by the Miami Dolphins to the Chicago Bears on Tuesday, has been accused of punching a woman in the face outside a New York City nightclub. The incident allegedly happened at 3:50am ET on Sunday and a report, which police are investigating, was filed on Monday night. "Brandon Marshall was the key note...
