MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - Standing in a near-empty locker room in the bowels of Sun Life Stadium long after Sundays game, Jason Taylor couldnt see much more than a lot of used athletic tape tossed about.
But, figuratively speaking, there was something quite clear in his vision.

Taylors team had just lost 26-10 to Philadelphia, assuring he will miss the playoffs for the eighth time in his 13 seasons with the Dolphins. If he indeed retires after 15 overall years, he has three games left and just one at Sun Life, the Jan. 1 season finale against the New York Jets.
Taylor, 37, has been contemplating retirement since signing a one-year deal last summer with the Dolphins after one season with the Jets. He also had left Miami for one season in 2008, going to Washington.
