Dolphins deep snapper John Denney was named to the AFC Pro Bowl squad on Monday as a coachs selection. Denney joins defensive end Cam Wake as the Dolphins representatives in the 2013 Pro Bowl on Jan. 27 in Honolulu.
This marks Denneys second trip to the Pro Bowl. He was also a coachs selection in 2011. The Denver Broncos coaching staff, which will coach the AFC team, picked Denney.
John deserves this recognition for his outstanding play this season and I am happy that he will join Cam (Wake) to represent the Dolphins in Hawaii, Dolphins coach Joe Philbin said.
