I don’t mean to stereotype, but the typical guy usually likes three things: Sports, the ladies and cars. Quarterbacks like Matt Moore deserve a chance. Therefore, let me speak to the masses in a context most Miami Dolphins fans should be able to understand (at least those of us without ovaries, and in possession of game). I want to share a story with you about two beautiful women I dated in college. Names won’t be disclosed to protect the innocent. Stay with me here. The first young lady – let us call her Henne – I only saw on Fridays during a biology lab. She always looked good during class. But for those who aren’t familiar with the college I attended, let me advise you that Friday is the day most students at Florida A&M dress up like they’re participating in a fashion show to go hang out on the set socializing. So, I eventually courted the young lady, who leaned on me heavily to get through the lab (and science is my worst subject). We got serious for a bit, but I was never c...

Tam-Star’s NFL Week 12 Pick Em’

Did you guys miss me last week? I took another vacation, but this time I didn’t go far. I only took a 5 hour flight to Miami. Unfortunately, I flew across the country and missed the Miami Dolphins home game against the Bills as well as Liv Nightclub. If you don’t know about Liv Nightclub, I urge you to check it out. Liv was voted one of the hottest nightclubs in the world...

Why the Miami Dolphins have a bright future moving onward.

The outlook for the Miami Dolphins is not nearly as bleak as it was four weeks ago. With three straight wins leading to a one point loss against the Dallas Cowboys, a team that was nine point favorites, the Dolphins fans have a lot to look forward to. Even amid a stellar pass rush from the likes of OLB DeMarcus Ware and the run stopping abilities of NT Jay Ratliff, RB...

Cowboys ready for ‘crafty’ Colombo

ARLINGTON – The Cowboys got rid of aging right tackle Marc Colombo at the start of training camp, but he’s proven to be a solid starter for the Dolphins. Dallas Pro Bowl outside linebacker and NFL sack leader DeMarcus Ware faced Colombo plenty in practice. Today, the two will square off in a game for the first time. “It’s going to be a little more intense than in practice...

Friday morning one-liners

Rookies have started to make an impact on the Bills defense. Said Dolphins CB Vontae Davis, “I wish they would have missed that field goal. But who am I to say that? I ain’t got magic.” Few predicted Patriots CB Kyle Arrington would lead the league in interceptions when he was cut by the Eagles.…

Dolphins' winning streak ends at 3 after they settle for FGs in 20-19 loss at Cowboys

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — The Miami Dolphins kicked, scratched and clawed — and even made plays when the Dallas Cowboys did that to them.

Fumbled snap gives Cowboys halftime lead

The Dolphins defense was dominating for a fourth straight week, until a fumbled snap by Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore helped turn the first half in favor of the Cowboys. Dallas leads 10-6 at halftime on Thanksgiving.  They should be very thankful to be ahead considering Tony Romo was picked off twice in the first half.…
