The Miami Dolphins have placed free agent guard Artis Hicks on injured reserve. Hicks injured his neck originally against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this preseason. The Dolphins did not designate Hicks for the use of the new injured reserve rule allowing teams to bring one player back from IR per season.
Hicks injury has yet to be diagnosed, according to a series of tweets from Miami Herald reporter Adam Beasley. Hicks' neck continued to get worse, however, doctors have not been able to determine if it's a muscular issue, or if it is nerve-related., even after running a full slate of tests. It is sort of sad that the best part of Hard Knocks comes from a player that isn’t even on the roster anymore. Regardless of what you think about what happened in the domestic incident between Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada, you can’t deny that Johnson in entertaining.
He seems to be taking responsibility for everything and not laying the blame on anyone else. More than anything...
DAVIE, Fla. The more Davone Bess talks, the more the number increases.
I want to get back to 70, to 80, 90, possibly 100 catches, the Dolphins wide receiver says of his expectations for this season.
Wait a minute. Catch 100 balls?
Thats something that never has been done in Miamis 46-year history, and nobody has come all that close. The team record is 90 by O.J. McDuffie in 1998...

There are a few things that might stand out from this years edition of Hard Knocks featuring the Miami Dolphins. Maybe it was Ryan Tannehill’s wife, or his phone number, but most likely it was Chad Johnson, even though he was off the team before we could all get used to him in teal. His [...]
