The Miami Dolphins will be the stars of this year’s edition of Hard Knocks, but one of their central characters may not be so into the idea. In an interview with the Palm Beach Post, Dolphins running back Reggie Bush said he isn’t sure whether or not the presence of TV cameras at the Dolphins’ pre-season camp will be beneficial. “I’m on the fence,” Bush said. “Training camp is so tough as it is. You’ve got guys trying to make the team, training and fighting and scratching. At the same time, we’re trying to jell together. It adds another thing, but it will bring a lot of buzz to the city, and that’s something we can all use as a city and team.” Bush’s comments follow those of Dolphins tight end Anthony Fasano earlier in the week. Speaking to SiriusXM radio, Fasano said there were “a lot of groans” around the locker room when their participation in the documentary series was announced to the team. The first episode of Hard Knocks will be broadcast on August 7th on HBO.

Sneak peek of the 2013 Miami Dolphins cheerleader calendar

After watching the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders re-make of Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” video dozens hundreds of times, I feel like I have a bond with these girls. It isn’t rocket science,...

Reggie Bush is “on the fence” about “Hard Knocks”

It doesn’t seem like the Miami Dolphins decision to be on HBO’s “Hard Knocks” is going over swimmingly with the rest of the players.  Running back Reggie Bush is not exactly thrilled with the idea, and questions whether or not there is any benefit to it for the players.  Here is what he said when [...]

Miami Dolphins prepared to tarp off upper level seats for 2012?

The Miami Dolphins organization has been one of the most respected and heralded in the history of the NFL. However, in recent years, the team has been drifting aimlessly as the fan base of the team wonders what direction the franchise is actually heading in. As the team is aggressively pushing season and individual ticket sales in the South Florida region, it appears that the club...

Former Miami Dolphins quarterback Pat White pursues acting career

While at West Virginia Pat White was one of the most exciting and dynamic collegiate quarterbacks in recent memory. His name can be found throughout the school, NCAA, and Big East conference record books. During his time in Morgantown White rushed for over 4,000 yards, passed for over 6,000, and accounted for 103 total touchdowns. Het [...]

Jake Scott has 2nd visit with Dolphins

After losing incumbent right guard Vernon Carey this offseason, the Dolphins look poised to head forward with unproven John Jerry, a 2010 3rd round pick, as the starter at that position. However, the Dolphins might not be too confident in him because they brought in Jake Scott for a visit twice, with the most recent time being this week, a sign that they could be close to signing...

Dolphins QB David Garrard Continues To Impress Coaches, Teammates

David Garrard has earned high praise this spring from teammates and Dolphins coach Joe Philbin as he battles to win Miami's starting quarterback competition. He's challenged by incumbent Matt Moore, who guided the Dolphins to a 6-3 finish in 2011 while also battling rookie Ryan Tannehill, the Dolphins' highly touted first-round draft pick. "The guy can still throw...

Good Start for Ochocinco

Chad Ochocinco likely will achieve his childhood dream of playing for the Miami Dolphins, but first he needs to make the team. But it appears that won't be too hard to do considering his impressive showing during his first OTA practice last Wednesday, which promoted starting cornerback Sean Smith to tweet: "(Forget) what you heard. Ochocinco still got it."

Dolphins could add tarps to upper deck seats; growing trend?

Teams in Florida have trouble selling seats. That's a fact. There's a laundry list of possible reasons for the phenomena, but the fact remains that the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Miami Dolphins play with a lot of empty seats on Sundays. The Dolphins may be looking to change that. According to Armando Salguero the Miami Herald, the Dolphins may be...

Dolphins Ponder Using Tarps To Cover Excess Seating

The Miami Dolphins say there are too many upper deck seats and not enough lower bowl seats at Sun Life Stadium. So, in lieu of not having the money to remedy the problem, the Dolphins may be looking at a temporary fix - borrowing an idea from the Jacksonville Jaguars - and covering a portion of the stadium's seats with tarps. "We have the furthest distance from the sidelines...

Ex-Dolphins Wide Receiver Chris Chambers Looks To Retire With Team

Former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chris Chambers is retiring from football after a 10-year NFL career. During that time, Chambers caught 540 passes for 7,648 yards, with 58 touchdowns, spending time with three teams. Chambers was drafted in the second round by the Dolphins in 2001. He would spend six-and-a-half seasons in Miami before being traded to the San Diego Charger in 2007...

Fantasy Football 2012: Does Chad Ochocinco Have Any Value Left?

Who here thought Chad Ochocinco was going to bounce back in New England after putting up 1000 receiving yards in just one out of his last three seasons in Cincinnati? Me too. Players who are close to being done in the NFL and fantasy football usually go to New England to get back that early success or find new success. Wes Welker did it. Randy Moss did it. Corey Dillon even...

Happy Father’s Day to NFL Father and Sons players

I remember my first NFL game, Super Bowl IX, Pittsburgh vs. Minnesota.  I sat there watching these two teams play for the championship with my dad not knowing a thing.  I was a wide eyed nine-year old boy asking questions, and him trying to explain the rules, while he was following the game on the TV.  I learned what a safety was, which was the first in Super Bowl history....
