Josh Alper of NBCSports reports that the Miami Dolphins placed cornerback, Dimitri Patterson, on the injured reserve list, officially ending his 2013 season.Patterson, bothered by a groin injury, finishes the year with four interceptions in only six games played.  In last week’s win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Patterson aggravated the injury and was noticeably in pain from the groin ailment.  Though playing in only six games this season, Patterson was productive while trying to play through the injury.Cornerback R.J. Stanford (leg), who played on special teams and part-time on defense, joins Patterson on the injured reserve list officially ending his season.In other related Miami roster moves, the Dolphins signed safety Michael Thomas off the San Francisco 49ers practice squad.  In addition, the Fins signed cornerback Justin Rogers, formerly of the 2013 Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans (one game). You can follow me on twitter @JAFOScottRyan
