The Miami Dolphins play the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday and as the week grinds on with preparation, there are a few fish missing from the Dolphins’ tank. Omar Kelly of the SunSentinel reports that absent from practice are nose tackle Paul Soliai and safety Chris Clemons.Soliai injured his left knee in Sunday’s win over the Indianapolis Colts and Clemons participated in a rehab session for an undisclosed injury. The Dolphins will miss Soliai if he is sidelined for any length of time. Known for his run stopping capability, plugging holes and filling gaps like liquid concrete, Soliai’s career totals (all with Miami) are 126 tackles and three and half sacks. Soliai is considered Miami’s best run defender. The Dolphins juggled their roster, possibly because of Soliai’s injury, signing two defensive tackles, Isaako Aaitui and Al Lapuaho to the practice squad. Cornerback Devin Smith quarterback Austin Davis were released to make room for the DTs.
