Dolphins sign All-Pro offensive weapon for QB Tua Tagovailoa
Braxton Berrios. Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports

The Miami Dolphins were able to sign an All-Pro for the upcoming season after losing them for a few days in free agency this week. Even with tight cap space, the Dolphins appear to be keeping their main core of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle in Miami for the 2024 season.

Tua Tagovaila needs more help next year

The Dolphins signed tight end Jonnu Smith earlier in the month to help fill out their tight end roster. Tight end was viewed as a weak spot for the Dolphins heading into the offseason. Fortunately for the Dolphins, their wide receiver room will stay explosively. And Braxton Berrios will help with that.

Braxton Berrios re-signs with the Dolphins

According to ESPN‘s Adam Schefter, Berrios is signing a one-year deal worth up to $3M with the Dolphins.

Berrios has a few talents to give the Miami Dolphins

Berrios caught 27 balls last year for 238 yards and one touchdown. Berrios’ contributions on special teams are where he earns his paycheck. He earned All-Pro honors in 2021 for his play with the New York Jets special teams.

Berrios averaged 10.2 yards per punt return and 24.5 yards per kickoff return for the 2023 season.
