The Miami Dolphins signed veteran offensive lineman Eric Ghiaciuc and, as previously reported, placed centerCory Procter on injured reserve with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Ghiaciuc is a fifth-year pro, spending four seasons with Cincinnati and the end of last season with San Diego. Ghiaciuc started 42 of 48 games that he played during his tenure with the Bengals. He was originally selected by the Bengals in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL draft. In 2009, Ghiaciuc went to training camp with Kansas City but was waived prior to the start of the season.
