During a conference call with season ticket holders, owner Stephen Ross alluded to a potential franchise overhaul, including alterations to the logo and uniforms.
The Miami Dolphins don’t have a whole lot left to do with their roster before the 2012 season. Sure, they still have to sign Ryan Tannehill, Olivier Vernon, and Michael Egnew…but those contracts should be done in the next couple of weeks. All that’s really left for Jeff Ireland and the Dolphins front office, is [...]
The Miami Dolphins are a very proud franchise that has won 2 Super Bowls back to back in 1973-74 (VII and VIII), and have appeared in 5 throughout their history (losing in Super Bowls VI, XVII and XIX). They had the highest winning percentage in the 1970’s in all of professional sports.
They have also have had two Hall of Fame QB in Bob Griese (QB from 1967-80) and Dan Marino...
David Garrard is getting first-team reps at QB for the Dolphins.
There was a very interesting development today in Miami as the Dolphins were giving quarterback David Garrard the first-team reps in their organized team activities according to a report by NFL.com.
At this point, it is way too early to jump to conclusions on the decision to give Garrard first-team reps. Dolphins...
Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is driven to change the perceptions of his franchise, one step at a time. To address the many issues -- perceived or real -- facing the Dolphins and Ross, the embattled owner and real estate mogul embraced the fan-friendly approach he's demanded by holding an hourlong conference call with season-ticket holders this week. The conference call...
According to Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post, Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin stated that they already worked out free agent wide receiver Chad Ochocinco. If that’s the case, then they never offered him a contract, which likely means they’re not interested in signing him.
I believe the reason why the Dolphins chose to not offer Ochocinco a contract is...
At first glance, the marriage between wide receiver Chad Ochocinco and the Miami Dolphins wreaks of desperation.
It reminds you of one of those relationships that starts shortly before closing time at the bar. Then you take a longer, deeper look at this union and nothing changes. Its a move borne of desperation.
But heres reality:
Training camp is fast approaching. Miami had...
According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Ochocinco has the ability to make up to $2 million this season in incentives. The incentives are based on how many receptions he hauls in during the 2012 season.
If Ochocinco is on the Dolphins roster after week one of the regular season, his $925,000 non-guaranteed salary will become...
Only one person could break the news of where Chad Ochocinco would sign, and guess what happened on Monday night, OCNN reported that Ocho has signed a 1 year deal with the Miami Dolphins.
There had been speculation all weak that Ocho would return home to Miami and join the Dolphins and he has done exactly that. Miami is a solid fit for Ocho where he will have the opportunity to...
Chad Ochocinco has agreed to a one year deal with the Miami Dolphins in a move that many are calling a PR ‘move’.
Hard knocks notwithstanding, Ochocinco, if he can learn the offense, is a solid addition to this team, even if he is primarily acting as a decoy and tying up the oppositions number one corner.
His play really suffered with the Patriots, but he should have a couple...
According to Chad Ochocinco, Chad Ochocinco has officially signed with the Miami Dolphins. A short while ago, Ochocinco broke the news on his @OCNN twitter account. For those of you wondering, OCNN is the Ochocinco news network. Ochocinco worked out for the Dolphins earlier Monday and signed his contract this evening. Chad’s signing comes on [...]
Chad Ochocinco finally received his walking papers from the New England Patriots late last week. Only four days later and the 34-year-old wideout may have already found a new landing spot. After plenty of rumors over the weekend, Ochocinco had a tryout with the Miami Dolphins on Monday and could be close to landing a deal to stay in his home state. Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin...
HBO's Hard Knocks has been one of the most anticipated and entertaining sports shows on television over the past few years. Based with the Miami Dolphins for the upcoming season, the show seemed to be headed for one of its more bland years -- it certainly wouldn't compare with Rex Ryan and the Jets. But the addition of polarizing wide receiver and reality TV efficiando Chad...
Free agent wide receiver Chad Ochocinco has signed a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Monday. Ochocinco had announced the signing on his website, the Ochochinco News Network, but Schefter later confirmed the report. Undoubtedly. Chad Ochocinco thinks the world wants to see him. I would have preferred to watch Hard Knocks this year without some guy trying to star on the show. Ochocinco isn’t going to make this show better, he’s going to try and be the star and make it worse.
