The Miami Dolphins have signed linebacker Cameron Wake to a $49 million extension, two sources reported Sunday. Wake, 30, will get a four-year deal with $20 million in guaranteed money, according to the Miami Herald and ESPN.com. Wake had one year left on his contract and was scheduled to make $650,000. He wanted a new deal, causing him to miss the team's voluntary workouts last month. Wake, who was undrafted from Penn State, was a two-time defensive player of the year in the Canadian Football League before he signed with the Dolphins in 2009. He has 28 sacks and 122 tackles in three NFL season.
