DAVIE, Fla. -- The Dolphins spent all summer, and the first few weeks of training camp rotating three quarterbacks as they competed for the starting spot. On top of that, 12 receivers were battling for six roster spots, and constantly went up and down the depth chart. Then a new receiver -- Anthony Armstrong -- got added to the mix after being claimed off waivers last week. And finally, Brian Hartline comes back from his calf injury. Now both Armstrong and Hartline are progressively being working into the starting group. As a result of the numerous changes the Dolphins passing game lacks chemistry, and rookie starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill is searching for a go-to target he can lean on. "Success helps," said Hartline, who caught three passes for 50 yards in the opener, one of which was a 34-yarder caught along the sidelines. "Any time you can create a situation where you aren't doubting each other, you're relying and trusting on one another, ...

While Ryan Tannehill seems like the one quarterback that the major media sites are failing to talk about, expect a big game this week from him. Tannehill and the lack luster Dolphins will face the Oakland Raiders this week, who lost one of the best defenders on Monday night against the Chargers. When Ron Bartell was injured it was a huge loss for the...
DAVIE, Fla. In todays NFL, its tough to score in the red zone the area inside the opponents 20-yard line without some basic weapons.
Heres the checklist: a head-banging running back, a space-clearing tight end, a wide receiver who can go up and get the ball, a crafty quarterback who is proficient at throwing the fade or the back-shoulder pass, and an offensive line that can...

The Miami Dolphins probably have the worst PR team in the NFL as it seems they just can’t keep the team out of the tabloids. This afternoon ProFootballTalk.com reported the Dolphins plan on holding a pretty much impossible halftime contest offering $10,000 to a lucky fan if they are able to hit a 60 yard field goal.
Most NFL kickers can’t kick it from 60 yards yet the...

Anyone watching television in the last few months is well aware of the fact there is a Presidential election looming on the horizon. Then again, that depends what programing you are watching. The Miami Dolphins have suffered local blackout issues in recent years after fielding underachieving teams. The NFL offered up teams a new deal which allowed the blackout restrictions to be...
Miami Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas did not practice Friday and was listed on the team's injury report as out against the Oakland Raiders with a concussion. Thomas was injured in the season opener at the Houston Texans. That means Reggie Bush should get the bulk of the carries for an otherwise inexperienced Miami backfield. Defensive tackle Tony McDaniel (knee) is also out on Sunday.
Miami Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas has been ruled out of
Sunday's game against Oakland because of a concussion, leaving the
team with little experience behind starter Reggie Bush.
