Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald was the first to report that the veteran wide receiver had been traded to the Minnesota Vikings, who are in dire need of help at that position with the health issues plaguing Percy Harvin and Sidney Rice. The Vikings reportedly are sending cornerback Benny Sapp to Miami in exchange for the sure-handed Camarillo, whose claim to fame with the team was catching the 64-yard game-winning touchdown in overtime in 2007 to beat the Baltimore Ravens and give the Dolphins their lone victory in a 1-15 campaign.
News of the deal traveled fast inside the bubble and around the facility, and local radio personality Ken LaVicka of 760-ESPN in West Palm Beach managed to reach Camarillo on the phone for his reaction...
