PLAYERS: Ryan Tannehill
TEAMS: Miami Dolphins
Frustration, aggravation, embarrassment are just some of the feelings that are spreading throughout the Dolphins fan base. After a promising 4-3 start including 3 straight wins the Dolphins have plummeted to 3 straight losses leading to a now 4-6 record, essentially halting all playoff talk.  While there is no one that individually that can take the blame as each loss has featured too many to point the finger at, however at the end of the day coach Philbin is responsible for his team and the past few performances have not been acceptable. The Dolphins have come out 3 straight games flat and unprepared. Despite the fact you would like to see your coach rally the troops and have them motivated to go, it seems Philbin has failed to do so recently as the team has played with no urgency or fire despite having had a shot at the playoffs. Coordinators on both side of the ball have underwhelmed as Kevin Coyle’s secondary looks like one of the of the weakest units in...

Is Ryan Tannehill Miami Dolphin’s ticket to the play-offs?

The experts believed Miami Dolphins were going to have a poor run as there are no stars on their team. However, with Ryan Tannehill, the quarter back on the team, they have been able to stay up there. A week ago, he threw two touchdown passes and the team was able to turn back continuous scoring threats from St. Louis. Miami won the game despite the team was outgained 462...

Do the Dolphins possess a clutch gene?

It seems like ages ago, but the Miami Dolphins haven't won comeback game in the 4th quarter this season.  Last night, Ryan Tannehill held the spotlight with two chances, more than most quarterbacks get,  to conduct a flawless 2 minute drill and send the Dolphins back to .500 and steal a game up in cold Buffalo.  A game that it appeared seemed winnable from...

Sputtering offense plagues Dolphins

Nothing comes easily these days for the Miami Dolphins. The lone touchdown scored by their offense in the past 21/2 games was awarded only after a replay review. The unit led by rookie Ryan Tannehill has stalled during a three-game losing streak, and so has the franchise's turnaround under first-year coach Joe Philbin. "Obviously we need to make some improvements quickly...

Miami Dolphins watching playoff hopes slip away

At the end of last month, the Miami Dolphins found themselves with a 4-3 overall record and right in the middle of the playoff discussion. Since the calender flipped from October to November, the Dolphins have lost three straight games and are slipping right out of the playoff discussion. Miami is suddenly having problems moving the football on offense and on defense, have allowed...

Dolphins Division: Playoff talk? Beat the Bills first, then we’ll talk

The Miami Dolphins had their playoff hopes punched in the gut on Sunday, losing in embarrassing fashion.  So, for the time being, we’re putting the kibosh on all Dolphins playoff talk.  Right now, this Dolphins’ team does not look like anything that resembles a playoff team.  That can change with a win over the Bills on Thursday night, but until then, the playoff talk is...

Miami Dolphins: Week 11 NFL Power Rankings (#16)

Last week: 12 (-4) Record: 4-5 They haven’t had a very good two weeks. Two weeks ago, they were in a playoff spot, 4-3, and road favorites heading to Indianapolis. Now they are 4-5 and dogs in Buffalo. Andrew Luck and taken back the title of best AFC rookie quarterback from Ryan Tannehill (did he ever really have it?) and at the same time they have taken the Dolphins’ former...

Week 11 AFC East game picks: Dolphins at Bills

Lead writer Nick St. Denis and AFC East Daily contributors Dan Begnoche and Sean Donovan pick the Miami Dolphins' AFC East bout with the Buffalo Bills.Nick's take:Flip a coin. The Bills' defense is terrible in nearly every facet, and the Dolphins' is sliding. Ryan Fitzpatrick is inconsistent and turnover-prone, and Ryan Tannehill, while mostly impressive this season...

The Best Moments From Dolphins-Bills

The Bills were so close to pulling one of those trademark “have the lead all day, but fail to do well in the red zone and therefore let the other team hang around just long enough to beat you at the very end” games that would have been just such a Buffalo way to lose their first prime time game in four years. Sadly, Ryan Tannehill threw interceptions on both opportunities to...

Gameday Deciding Factors: Dolphins at Bills

In a crucial divisional bout where neither team can afford a loss, Thursday's primetime matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins shouldn't disappoint. While Miami is looking to snap a two-game losing streak and rebound from an embarrassing loss at home against Tennessee, the Bills are home for only the second time in six games in trying to right the ship....

Dolphins-Bills Live Blog, First Half

Yup, the most compelling storyline for this game is based off an off-hand joke that Reggie Bush made on a sports talk radio station about women who live in Buffalo. This should be great. Even NFL.com is having a hard time polishing this turd. Also-rans also running! Excitement! This being the AFC East (make sure to remind Ryan Tannehill), two sub-.500 teams are playing for second...
