According to ProFootballWeekly.com, the main thing the Miami Dolphins want quarterback Ryan Tannehill to work on this offseason is his accuracy. As the Dolphins spend the offseason working to put better weapons around QB Ryan Tannehill, we hear one thing the team wants its franchise signalcaller to improve upon is accuracy. Tannehill completed 58.3 percent of his passes as a rookie, though was markedly better in wins, completing 65.7 percent of his throws in the seven victories compared to only 54.3 in nine losses. “He can take a step better in accuracy, in ball placement, getting the ball out faster, tempo,” GM Jeff Ireland told reporters at the Senior Bowl. Of course giving Tannehill a receiver like Greg Jennings or Mike Wallace would really help him grow next season. Tannehill didn’t have a horrible rookie season.  He threw for over 3,000 yards,  12 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })();

Dolphins Possibly Trading DE Jared Odrick?

Armando Salguero of The Miami Herald suggests that the Dolphins should consider placing DE Jared Odrick on the trading block this offseason. Odrick, the team’s first-round pick in 2010, was drafted for the team’s previous 3-4 defense system, but since then they’ve changed to a 4-3 base defense. At 300 plus pounds, he’s hardly an ideal fit to 4-3 defensive end. Pro Football...

Brian Hartline Pricing Himself Out Of Miami?

According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, Dolphins WR Brian Hartline is likely targeting a similar deal to the one (five-years, $32.5 million) WR Laurent Robinson signed with the Jaguars last season. Dolphins To Allow CB Sean Smith To Depart During Free Agency?

Armando Salguero of The Miami Herald writes that Dolphins CB Sean Smith is expected to be targeting a similar contract to the one the Cowboys handed out to Brandon Carr (five years, $50 million) last season. Salguero adds that Smith inconsistencies make him far from a sure thing and paying him an annually salary of $8 to 10 million is huge gamble to take for any team looking...

Welker to Dolphins?

A recent NFL.com article suggests that when/if Wes hits the open market he will be back in sunny South Beach with the team who traded him to the Patriots in 2007. Since, Welker has torn up Miami's D and the rest of the NFL and emerged as the premier slot receiver in the game. It doesn't appear to be any substantial fact supporting the statement in the article, but I am sure...
