The Miami Dolphins could be without both starting receivers Sunday against Buffalo.
Brian Hartline and Davone Bess, who have combined for nearly half of Miami's receptions, missed practice Thursday with back injuries. Bess sat out Sunday's win over Jacksonville, and Hartline was hurt in that game.
If neither plays, quarterback Ryan Tannehill's options at wide receiver will be Marlon Moore, rookie Rishard Matthews, newcomer Armon Binns and converted running back Marcus Thigpen. The foursome has combined for 13 catches with the Dolphins this year.

Dolphins Gameplan: Protect the football and RUN!
The Miami Dolphins owe the Buffalo Bills one, after losing 19-14 on Thursday Night Football, earlier this season. The Dolphins lost that game, in large part, because they turned the football over 3 times and didn’t create any turnovers. The Dolphins were pushed around by the Bills in that Thursday night loss and were held to just 60 rushing yards in that game. If the Dolphins...

Both tasks are daunting.
