Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie had a few free agent visits lined up, but when he sat down with the Denver Broncos, it didn't really matter anymore. They laid out what they thought were some of his weaknesses on the field, and that was all he needed to hear. He cancelled his other visits and signed with Denver. "They told me about my flaws. Nobody had done that, and it impressed me," Rodgers-Cromartie said, via the Bradenton Herald. "They told me what I needed to work and how they would get me better instead of telling me about what I could do." The Broncos think Rodgers-Cromartie's strengths lie in man coverage, and that's where they'll use him. After an inconsistent performance with the Philadelphia Eagles, a fresh start might be all he needs to be successful as he was Arizona, where he looked his best. "He is one of the best I've seen, who can recover after he gets beat because his hips are so fast," wide receiver Demaryius Thomas said. "He is like Champ (Bailey). Going against both of those guys every day in practice is a real battle. They both are the best."
