After many reports and speculated rumors on a potential trade between the Bucs and Jets for Darrelle Revis, the deal is practically done.  Jets and Bucs have already agreed on the trade, Revis and Bucs have agreed on basic contract, deal should be finalized by tonight or Mon AM — Jason Cole (@JasonColeYahoo) April 21, 2013 The 27-year old Revis was originally drafted 14th overall in 2007 by the New York Jets out of Pitt. He is a four-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro. He was also defensive player of the year in 2009. For his career, Revis has recorded 294 tackles, 19 interceptions, and has scored three defensive touchdowns in his six year career. Revis is coming off of an ACL injury that had him sidelined for the majority of the 2012 season. However, the Buccaneers have never been too concerned with it. Revis was reportedly granted permission to visit Tampa Bay this morning by several national outlets and later confirmed by PewterReport.com. Barring any last minute or last second changes, this deal should be formally announced well before the draft — which is on Thursday. As for compensation, initial reports have the Bucs giving up multiple picks including this year’s first. We’ll know more once all the dust settles and the teams make it official.
