Donovan McNabb is right, yet wrong too

Donovan, I clearly see where you are coming from when stating that because there are so few starting qbs that are white that they are critiqued more harshly, but I've heard more criticism about Rex Grossman over this last year than you, Ryan Leaf was a huge bust and that was heralded for many years, along with Tim Couch. I've also seen the likes of Akili Smith get beat down by the media. I can say that I don't receive e-mails and mail from fans or am at stadiums hearing what hecklers say to you, so I can't totally say yes or no. I think that you do as good a job as the next qb, and just like all qbs and football players, you're human whether you're black or white. I don't hear much scrutiny towards Vince Young, David Garrard, Campbell or Jackson. In fact, at times they are praised just like you. You took the Eagles very far into the playoffs many times, and just like Peyton Manning was ridiculed for not being a winner until he won the super bowl, every qb will too. Look at Rex Grossman who is a white qb with this being his first full year of starting and people say they should bench him though they get to the super bowl with him. I say as a true NFL fan I don't care whether a player is black or white or yellow or any other hue, a person is a person. Though I can honestly say there are those who don't see the same way, so I say shame to those who do ridicule others or praise them more for their race.
