Donovan McNabb Puts New Jersey Home up for Sale

I just received word from my sources that Donovan McNabb has listed his home for sale in Mullica Hill, NJ... No this isn't simply an eye catching opening to one of my typically sarcastic articles. I just confirmed this to be true last night. I have friends who reside in the very same expensive estates built on that former farmland too. In fact, I once drove by his home while it was still being built on my way to their house, only to find a wide variety of over 25 vanities in the driveway waiting to be selected by #5 himself for his bathrooms. No T.O. wasn't there doing sit ups and hanging out at the time with McNabb helping him decide. I figure this could mean one of two things.... 1) The reported rumors that the Eagles have decided to move on next year without McNabb as their signal caller might just have legs. Or 2) The McNabb's are moving out of Southern New Jersey and starting the search for their dream home, to begin their new life in Minnesota or resume their old life and rejoin the family in Illinois. Meanwhile, Philadelphia Eagles President and cap crunching extraordinaire Joe Banner was interviewed yesterday by Howard Eskin on Sports Talk Radio's 610WIP backing the notion that McNabb and head coach Andy Reid will definitely be returning to the nest for the 2008-09 season. Hopefully my sources are wrong, because I believe that the Eagles need McNabb as their starting quarterback again next year in his second season since having major knee surgery. He will be much healthier months from now and ready for a big year again. I'm not ready to fall into the Kevin Kolb era and suffer through more playoff free seasons, not to mention the frustrating learning curves that lay ahead for the next 3 years. So Donovan, brother Yard Barker, since you are a member of this Network perhaps you could give us an idea of what you may have heard from Andy or Mr. Banner. Or perhaps rather what you may feel? The last thing I want to see is you doing sit ups in your driveway while News trucks pull up in front of your crib.
