How does Donovan McNabb roll when he’s throwing up the iron at the gym? The guy rocks the workout gloves, according to gym stalker @devodrama23. That’s just how serious Donovan is about his gym routine. He’s not the type of loser who rolls in and isn’t focused about getting ripped. You know who else wears workout gloves?   What’s really going on with McNabb? Another stalker (@ilyssakyu) supposedly caught McNabb going hammer time on what looks to be a massive breakfast that includes a crazy diet busting waffle with whipped cream. You might remember that McNabb was rather beefy in October. What’s he been eating outside of the gym? Looks like waffles and chicken chunks. Filed under: Football

Vikings have to deal ‘Starvin’ Harvin

Percy Harvin of the Minnesota Vikings is making a nickname for himself as “Starvin’ Harvin”, because he’s asking for such a high contract you’d think he wasn’t getting anything to eat his entire career. Harvin wants a 12 million dollars a year plus contract, but what makes it even worse than the fact that he isn’t worth that price tag. Is that there have been a lot...

Brian Billick believes that it is time to hold Christian Ponder accountable

NFL analyst Brian Billick knows a little about the quarterback position. He won a Super Bowl with quite possibly the worst quarterback in SB history in Trent Dilfer.   However, before that Billick was the offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings, including the record breaking offense in 1998. He understands the variance of calling plays to protect a quarterback, and the...

Cool Math: 15% Chance Adrian Peterson Actually Broke Eric Dickerson's Record

It's easy to forget how informal yardage measurements are in the National Football League. After all, there's no such thing as gaining half a yard. It's either an eight-yard run or a nine-yard run.  With that in mind, a very clever gentleman named Jeremy Scheff calculated the margin for error under those circumstances in order to determine the odds that Adrian Peterson...

Minnesota Vikings Googly Eyes

Yeah, so, this has nothing to do with anything, but I went through a handful of photos of Vikings players this weekend and added Googly Eyes on to them. This is apparently a bit of a thing recently, most often scene in subways and on posters where serious faces are given googly eyes and then everyone laughs. I thought it was kind of funny, but there is always the chance that it isn...

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. The Minnesota Vikings are entering a pivotal third year for Christian Ponder and the determination of whether he has the tools to develop into a franchise quarterback. The next step of the puzzle for Minnesota: putting the proper pieces around Ponder to make a proper decision.Regardless of how the saga with leading receiver Percy Harvin unfolds this offseason...

Matt Birk Retires from the NFL; Is He a Quitter?

Last Friday, former Minnesota Vikings center Matt Birk announced he was quitting the NFL. After 15 long seasons playing the game he loved, the 36-year-old football player left his current teammates in the middle of his contract, after reaching and winning a Super Bowl, and leaving the cornerstone of their offensive line in the hands of a fourth found pick out of the University of...
