As an Oakland Raiders fan, I can say that I truly HATE JaMarcus Russell. He’s apparently taking his NFL return seriously. I just watched a video where Russell was being mentored in physical and football training by former QB Jeff Garcia. Let me take you back to my draft day in April of 2007: My … Continue reading »

Let’s be honest here, Carson Palmer has made a boat load of money for not doing much. 2013 is the year Raiders fans find out who the true Carson Palmer is - the one who looked on the verge of greatness in 2006, or the guy everyone has been watching ever since. General manager Reggie McKenzie said there will be a quarterback competition; coach Dennis Allen echoed those statements.
Let’s get something straight Raider Nation. The Oakland Raiders need Carson Palmer to remain on the team if this team has any chance of recovering in the next couple of seasons, because the, “Let’s throw Palmer under the bus.” rhetoric is getting a little tired at this point.
The 2012, 4-12 season wasn’t Palmer’s fault and any person who tries to argue otherwise is not...

Let’s get one thing out of the way here: Any excuse we have to re-post this all-time awesome mug shot is going to be seized. This mug shot was taken by Oakland Raiders DT Desmond Bryant over the weekend, and it belongs in the Hall of Fame of mug shots. Heck, it’s so splendid, it should get its own bust in Canton before Michael Strahan. As you know by now, Bryant was arrested...
The struggles of the Oakland Raiders since their 2002 Super Bowl Appearance have been well recognized by the rest of the NFL and fans everywhere. From 2003 on, Oakland has gone an abysmal 49-111 in the 10 seasons since that championship appearance, and along the way the Raiders have produced an endless number of organizational low lights. The worst of which include drafting JaMarcus...
Former Oakland Raiders wide receiver Tim Brown created quite a stir last month in the lead up to the Super Bowl, by claiming that Bill Callahan, his coach when the Raiders lost to the Bucs in Super Bowl XXXVII, changed the game plan just a couple of days prior in order to help his friend Jon Gruden get his ring. This of course created a bit of a stir, and Jerry Rice backed the claim...

1.) Who knows what the Raiders plan to do with Terrelle Pryor at this point. They chose not to play him until the last game. I thought he looked good in that start, despite getting no help from his receivers. He had the offense moving as well as it did all year. 2.) Did the … Continue reading »
Former Oakland Raiders receiver Tim Brown called out his former coach Bill Callahan for allegedly sabotaging the Raiders in their Super Bowl blowout loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
When he made those allegations Brown mentioned that Callahan changed the game plan and center Barret Robbins begged Callahan not to change it.
"Barret Robbins begged Coach Callahan, '...
I guess it’s the NFL’s turn to get in on the “Harlem Shake” phenomenon. The Raiders’ Terrelle Pryor, Darrius Heyward-Bey, Jacoby Jones and a few others decided they wanted in and shot their own.
Yeah, I’m not a fan. See the problem is that the Miami Heat set the bar ridiculously high with theirs.
First off, there’s costuming, they start the video in their warm ups...
