I'm the runaway steal for TEs this year T...
2011 Recap: Celek and Vick weren’t on the same page in 2010 and it carried over into 2011. McNabb and Kolb had shown much love for the TE during their stint as starters, but Vick was looking for the homeruns with D-Jax/Maclin. In weeks 1-5 he has not found the endzone and was looking like a lost case for fantasy owners. Then in week 6 he finished with 42 yards and a TD. From that point on he was 4th in PPG for fantasy TEs. His hip injury has finally healthy headed into 2012.
What’s Changed: Besides the fact that Vick was finally looking for him, nothing much has changed in the Eagles offensive personnel or offensive scheme.
Outlook: Celek could easily finish as a top 5 TE this season. He was a top 5 guy in 2011 during the last 10 games of the season, so it’s not a reach to think he can continue his rapport with Vick. With a strong schedule for TEs (7th best), health finally on his side, a pass happy offense, and a...

Philadelphia Eagles: How Penalties on 3rd Down Impacted the 2011 Season
As a supplement to my previous article about the Philadelphia Eagles getting back to the basics, I wanted to throw in some penalty statistics that may be of interest…or concern.
A reader brought up a point about getting killed with penalties on third-down last year that either kept the opponent’s drive alive, or thwarted our own drive. Since I can remember that penalties...

Trent Richardson: Philadelphia Eagles’ First Test
When the Philadelphia Eagles’ schedule was released, it seems the NFL’s upper room gave our Birds a break with the season opener and an easy 1-0 start against the lowly Browns. Not too fast, though, 4-12 was a year ago, and Cleveland picked up Trent Richardson—the epitome of Philadelphia’s kryptonite for so long that it’s sickening.
