For this week’s predictions, I am jumping right in . . .
Ravens at Broncos
What happens when the fervor of the almighty Ray Lewis meets with the calm countenance of Peyton Manning?
As the game’s top students plan for their twelfth battle, history shows that the offensive guru has outwitted the demigod of Baltimore in their last 7 confrontations. When Lewis and Co. pose for the camera and disguise their schemes, cameraman Manning will capture mental shots throughout the game to remember the looks they’re providing him. He will proceed to point out potential blitzers , shout audibles to his well-seasoned receivers (Decker and Thomas) all the while the play-clock winds down, pop his mouthpiece back in, drop back and treat the Ravens bedrock defense as equally as he treated a crummy Browns defense. He’s an equal-opportunity employer, this captain Manning; and this is as impartial as I’ll get but I just don’t see how Baltimore will besiege the Broncos, who’ve rested for an extra week AND...

Just what I was thinking when I saw Peyton hopping up and down on the sidelines.
The post Peyton Manning Pulls Out Awkward Turtle appeared first on Kissing Suzy Kolber.
Tim Tebow has suffered through embarrassment and a mess of a time as a New York Jet this season. While the man who took his place in Denver, Peyton Manning, enjoyed a rebirth in his career, led the Broncos to the best record in the AFC, and probably won another MVP.
Manning and the Broncos lost today as we all know in a double overtime thriller to the Baltimore Ravens. Manning...
This is one of the more interesting questions as the NFL kicks off its divisional playoffs later today. Peyton Manning’s record in cold weather games hasn’t been great, and now we hear he’ll be wearing gloves for this playoff game. The Broncos are heavy favorites today as they host the Ravens, and many Ravens fans and those betters taking the points are hoping Peyton will freeze...
Is Brady a better bet than the Broncos?Peyton Manning and company have won 11 consecutive games. They've got home field advantage throughout the playoffs, and the best odds (11/4) of any NFL team to win the Super Bowl. But should they really be considered the team most likely to win it all? It's possible their winning streak has a lot to do with their schedule. They...
The Denver Broncos will host the Baltimore Ravens this afternoon in what will be the coldest of any of the playoff games played this weekend. Temperatures could be in the single digits by the end of the game and there is a 30% chance of snow to be flying. This game marks Peyton Manning’s return to the playoffs after sitting out the 2011 season while dealing with a neck injury....
The Ravens and Broncos will feature a bit of a chess match between Peyton Manning and Ray Lewis, two of the biggest names in the game. The night game, Green Bay at San Francisco, features quarterbacks with two very different levels of experience.
That was quick.
On their third offensive play of the game, Denver quarterback Peyton Manning threw a pick-six to cornerback Corey Graham.
Graham’s interception gave the Ravens a 14-7 lead with less than 10 minutes left in the first quarter. The interception was set up by a Chykie Brown tipped pass.
Who will you be rooting for on Saturday? Baltimore or Denver?
Raj: I got a lot of criticism for fellow Patriots fans on twitter for my decision to root for the Ravens last Sunday and that isn't changing. One reason is because Ray Rice carried Rutgers to glory and I am a Jersey guy. Pride apart, I also rooted for the Ravens because let's be honest, who is a much tougher...
With Tebow nowhere in sight, it was Ravens defensive captain Ray Lewis this time preaching to viewers that “nothing is impossible with God.”
Joe Flacco stripped the annoying monkey off his back (again) and orchestrated his offense (near-flawlessly) versus a defense that ranked 3rd against the pass (199.6 ypg). Without fear, he catapulted touchdowns, to Jacoby Jones (1) and Torrey...
Baltimore Ravens at Denver Broncos
The Broncos are the favorites in this one, not only because of their record but also because they have a decided advantage at home. The Broncos are 7-1 at home and the Ravens haven been mediocre on the road as their 4-4 record indicates. What is worse for the Ravens is that Joe Flacco's quarterback rating drops nearly 25 points when he...
In an industry that seemingly devolves day after day, finding the most inept, inane sportswriter can sometimes prove more difficult than expected. Last year, the title was pretty much up for grabs until the fall, whereupon Mitch Albom blew away the “competition” with a steaming pile of word turds related to the AL MVP race. This year, however, I think we can give the damn thing...
Ray-Ray vs. Pey-Pey is your narrative talking point for the first of three regular season rematches on Divisional Playoff weekend. Can the Broncos replicate their recent drubbing of Baltimore and send Ray Lewis into a retirement filled with braying and dancing on ESPN? Denver won decisively in the first meeting this year between these teams, though some people have said the game...
