Dear Fans,
Every season after attending a few camps I give you my prognosis. Every season I am on the money. Not by examining every minute detail of every player and formulating an opinion based on X’s and O’s. My prognosis is made from the overall attitude and feel from camp. A holistic view of the team we love, then hate, the love once again.

Poor… but improved.
Camp is very relaxed… too relaxed. No one is displaying the kind of leadership that it takes in camp for the players to really get down to brass tax. There is more goofing around than I have ever witnessed in a NFL camp. Any sense of urgency is completely absent as players walk leisurely to their assigned area for drills. Maybe its the new CBA and rules associated in regards to helmets, practice time, etc. Maybe its the new coaching staff. Whatever it is the Panthers, more than anyone, can’t afford this luxury.
