Drew Bledsoe and Rick Mirer will forever be remembered as the first and second pick in the 1993 NFL Draft. Now TMZ says they can be linked in another manner; this time as co-plaintiffs. Along with former quarterbacks Craig Nall and Alex Van Pelt they are suing the Swiss bank, UBS.
"Drew says he invested a bundle in a company called Pay by Touch through UBS, but the bank concealed the criminal past of John Rogers, the founder of Pay by Touch. Rogers raised $130 mil from investors ? but made a grand total of $700K."
Damn, John Rogers and Pay by Touch went through a lot of cash. I don't know how this case will turn out, but if history indicates Mirer, Nall, and Van Pelt have no chance of winning anything.
