Due to brain flatulence, I originally forgot to include New Orleans' Drew Brees in the conversation about QBs that you'd rather have instead of Tony Romo.
Fortunately, some of you folks gently reminded me. Then, others wondered how the heck I could be on the fence regarding the issue whether Brees is better than Romo.
I mean, golly, isn't it obvious after Brees became the second QB in NFL history to throw for 5,000 yards in a season?!
Well, no, it isn't obvious. Let's take a look at their stats over the last two seasons, Romo's only two full campaigns as a starter:
