GREEN BAY, Wis. -- In what could be the final game for Donald Driver at Lambeau Field, the Packers' all-time leading receiver is inactive for Saturday night's playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings. Driver, a seventh-round pick by Green Bay in 1999, has 743 receptions, 10,137 receiving yards and 61 touchdowns in his 14-year career. Driver signed a restructured one-year deal with the Packers this past offseason, soon after winning "Dancing with the Stars." Driver battled a thumb injury late this season, but he has not been on the injury report at all since mid-December. Therefore, this decision by Packers coach Mike McCarthy to not have Driver active is strictly based on talent. In the 13 regular-season games that Driver was active for this year, he had only eight catches for 77 yards and two touchdowns. The rest of Green Bay's inactive list for Saturday night's game is: wide receiver Jarrett Boykin (ankle), cornerback Davon House (hip), running back James Starks (knee), linebacker Frank Zombo (no injury), defensive tackle Jordan Miler (no injury) and defensive end Jerel Worthy (knee). 21 people arrested during Vikings-Packers playoff game

Prior to Saturday night's Vikings-Packers playoff game, it was reported that alcohol sales at Lambeau Field were to be cut off early, hoping to curtail any potential mischief. A lot of good that did. The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports that a "season-high" 21 people were arrested during the Packers' 24-10 win. The previous high was 18. In case you're keeping...

Packers' Harris nearly matches Peterson

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Packers first-year running back DuJuan Harris claims he doesn't care about statistics. We’re just one day away from the Green Bay Packers’ playoff opener against the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field. So this afternoomn Vic Ketchman editor from Packers.com hosted Pack President and CEO Mark Murphy on an open conference call for Packer backers. As a stockholder, I had to listen in and hear what Murphy had to say. Murphy seemed to like a lot of the questions, saying...

Bless You, Bitter Vikings Fan

After John Kuhn scored his second touchdown of the night, NBC focused on some mongoloid Packers fans celebrating in the crowd. Including in the shot was a Vikings fan doing that thing when he pretends to rub his cheek but really gives you the finger. Because searching for naughty language and gestures might be the only reason to watch the second half of this game. The post Bless...

Packers stand up to Peterson -- finally

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Packers were confident they were going to stop Adrian Peterson in Saturday's playoff rematch with the Minnesota Vikings. Based on the results of the two regular-season games against the NFL's best running back, that seemed like a long shot. But, with improved tackling and better gap control, the Packers held Peterson who had 409 rushing yards combined...
