Some of you may have noticed that there’s been a recent uptick in posting and that most of those posts have been written by me. There is a reason for this. No, it is not “Christmas Ape is super jazzed about the off-season”. It is because I have taken over as full-time editor of KSK. Before you start lighting things on fire, allow me to explain that no one is going anywhere. All the KSK writers will remain with the site and will continue to post about as much as they had been before. Ufford will still do the sexbag. Kogod will still be doing LOLNFL and Always Be Covering. Obviously, Drew is ceding Peter King bashing duties to me, but that’s been in effect for a few weeks now. The biggest change for you, dear readers, is that there will be more content. More dick jokes is generally accepted as a good thing. For a while, KSK had been allowing some perfectly mockable things to pass by unmocked. We’d receive incredulous e-mails from readers asking, “I can’t believe you’re not gonna do a...

Report: Unexpected team has spoken with Rams about 2nd pick

According to Peter King of SI.com, an NFL source told him that the St. Louis Rams have already had several teams feeling them out regarding a trade for the second overall pick.  One of those teams is one that “you would never expect.” We have no idea who the unexpected team is, but one idea is that it could be the Denver Broncos, since they’ve already been mentioned as a potential...

King: Wayne/Garçon/Manning package deal?

Peter King suggests something a step further than most. He says that the obvious situation is for a team to sign both Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne. Of course, now that Pierre Garçon has turned down a five-year deal with the Colts King throws him in for good measure: And one more note from potential free agency, according to a source close to another free-agent receiver: Pierre...

Package Deal: Peyton & Reggie

We like the same flavor of Gatorade T... According to Peter King of Sports Illustrated, Peyton Manning would love for a team to sign BOTH he and WR Reggie Wayne in a package deal.  King implied that there could be at least 2 teams that would be interested in signing both players and bringing them on board after free agency begins. The teams that are in the running are the Cardinals...

Peter King talks NFL combine

Mike Florio gets Peter King’s take on the 2012 NFL Combine, looking at Robert Griffin III and Andrew Luck’s performances, and debating where Peyton Manning could land.

Dolphins likely won’t go after Peyton Manning

According to Peter King of SI.com, one NFL general manager told him that the problem with Peyton Manning possibly going to the Miami Dolphins is that new head coach Joe Philbin wants to control his team and his offense, instead of allowing Manning to dictate things. This leads me to believe that the Dolphins will likely not pursue Manning when he gets released by the Colts.  I believe...

Peter King Thinks The NFL Combine Is Like Seinfeld

When we last left the Wikipedia of charismatic humblology, Peter King, he was prescribing pharmaceuticals to depressed NFL markets, pretending like he was deeply affected by the death of New York Times foreign correspondent Anthony Shadid and demanding apologies from the Red Sox front office like a raving dickhead. So what about this week? Does he remember “Seinfeld”, a show...

Peter King: Impressive Griffin makes Rams' No. 2 pick a very valuable asset

Robert Griffin III's stunning combine showing has made the No. 2 pick the most intriguing in years, writes Peter King. But RG III wasn't the only prospect to make an impression in Indy.

Rams “will” trade No. 2 pick

If there were any doubt in the wake of Peter King’s latest Monday Morning Quarterback column (and there shouldn’t have been), there’s definitely none now. The Rams, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, will trade the No. 2 overall pick in the 2012 draft, which barring something completely unforeseen and unexpected will be used on…

2012 NFL Combine: risers and fallers highlight a mixed-up WR class

We aren't supposed to take too much stock in what happens at the NFL Combine, which Peter King once named the "underwear olympics." But there are winners and losers each year nonetheless, and nowhere is that more apparent than in this year's mixed-up class of wide receivers.  Unlike last year, where AJ Green and Julio Jones gave us a consensus top two at the top...

Peter King: Is a Manning-Wayne reunion ahead?

A Peyton Manning-Reggie Wayne reunion on another NFL team? That's the latest twist, says Peter King, who assesses Manning's most likely suitors -- and whether Wayne would also fit.

Rams see three windows to trade No. 2 pick

NFL teams usually pretend that they aren’t set on trading out of a certain draft position; just that they are “open” to making a move. The Rams don’t seem interested in playing this game. They don’t need to play games; they know how much interest Robert Griffin III will attract. SI.com’s Peter King talked to…

A Peyton-Reggie package deal?

PFT: SI's Peter King says Manning, Wayne and at least two potential teams would be interested in having both players in the same place.

NHL Trade deadline, Daytona 500, and a Dry Sox Clubhouse

It’s a busy Monday in the sports world, with the NHL trading deadline set for this afternoon, and the Bruins looking to add a piece or two to their roster. Stephen Harris thinks that anything the Bruins do would be minor in nature. Joe Haggerty has a look at some possible targets. The Daytona 500 was rained out yesterday for the first time in history, and will be run tonight at...

Peter King: Wherever Manning goes, trusted receiver Wayne may follow
