Elvis Dumervil Suitors are emergingBy DJ BoyerHard to imagine a more bizarre fiasco than the process by which Elvis Dumervil was released by the Broncos. Only thing that may be stranger than the whole situation is the team that suddenly looks to be in the lead for his services, none other than the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens. There has been a jettison from the team with players leaving or being cut due to monetary restrictions but apparently there is still some money in the kitty. The Patriots and Lions also look to be players but Baltimore has the inside track with front seven schemes similar to what he ran in Denver. Also from the” Ummmmmm Really” files..Dumervil apparently phoned his agent to let him know he was “moving in another direction”……ahhhhh yeah I think we all saw that one coming! Thanks for reading. Rumor Mill: Denver Has Made a Higher Offer to Dumervil than Baltimore

Per Les Shapiro of Denver’s ESPN Station 102.3, The Broncos have made a higher offer to bring back Elvis Dumervil than what is currently on the table from the Baltimore Ravens.  This is pretty unfounded at this point, so it comes down to how good of a source Les has.  That said, it appears the organization is holding to their word that they’re intent on keeping Doom in the...

Detroit Lions Should Explore Adding Elvis Dumervil

If not for a big mistake by the Denver Broncos and a fax machine, there wouldn’t even be a conversation about Elvis Dumervil being on the open market. But, late Friday afternoon, a mistake happened and Dumervil went from being extended to becoming the best free agent pass rusher available. The dominating defensive end was scheduled to make $8 million dollars. The Lions, after...

Elvis Dumervil rumors: Patriots, Ravens, Titans interested

Broncos, Dumervil still in talks

Somehow, through it all, the Denver Broncos and Elvis Dumervil are still on speaking terms. The fax machine relationship clearly wasn’t working. After a second denial by the NFL to reconsider the Broncos and Dumervil’s case, and after Dumervil fired his previous agent and hired Tom Condon, the team and their defensive end are still in talks, The Denver Post reports. Dumervil...

Patriots showing interest in Dumervil

This article originally appeared on the blog 60 Max Power O. Find more coverage here . It would be poetic justice if the New England Patriots could sway defensive end Elvis Dumervil to play in Foxboro. The Denver Broncos were able to sign longtime Patriots receiver Wes Welker with the old strategy of double dipping, getting a great receiver while hurting a conference foe. Revenge...

Denver Offers Dumervil New Contract After “Fax-gate”

Denver Broncos team president John Elway went on record today with ESPN stating the team has made a new offer to defensive end Elvis Dumervil after his agent failed to file the paperwork of an agreed upon restructured contract by the 4 P.M. EST deadline. “We’ve offered Elvis a contract,” said Elway Tuesday afternoon. “We’d like to have Elvis back.” The terms of this new...

Report: Steelers, Ravens are both interested in Elvis Dumervil

According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, both the Ravens and Steelers are interested in free agent linebacker Elvis Dumervil. Report: Steelers Interested In Elvis Dumervil

The Ravens and Steelers compete at least twice a season as division rivals during the NFL regular season, and now according to reports, they’ll be competing for the top pass rusher on the open market also. Because of a paperwork and fax issue, Elvis Dumervil is now a free agent.  Multiple reports from the Baltimore Sun are indicating that the Steelers have joined the Ravens...

Steelers Interested In Long And Dummervil? Really?

Over the last few days the Pittsburgh Steelers have been reported as having interest in former Denver Broncos defensive end/outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil and current St. Louis Rams tackle Jake Long. While these reports certainly get the Steelers fan base excited, you have to wonder how much water that these reports hold. Face it, the Steelers are working with very limited cap...
