Panthers Report:
Carolina Panthers WR Dwayne Jarrett was supposed to be the answer at receiver for the Panthers but he has continually disappointed. The 6′4″ 220 pound USC product is entering his 4th season in the NFL and feels that this will be a breakout season for him. 2009 was Jarrett’s best season, but overall it wasn’t very good. In 13 games he recorded 17 receptions for 196 yards and 1 score.
Jarrett joined WFNZ in Charlotte to discuss the upcoming season. You can hear the interview here.
Jarrett admits he’s in a battle with Brandon LaFell for the number two spot and he’ll have to really impress during training camp and then find a way to stay on the field. Panthers fans have heard all this song and dance before.
