PPR Fantasy Football:
Whether it is buying low in trade, snatching up a waiver wire gem, or drafting a rookie, hitting on a wide receiver in a dynasty league can set your team up for years of success. Nailing down a stud WR1 is everyone’s goal, but usually it’s the strong WR3’s and WR4’s that really separate the juggernauts from the middle of the pack. We all talked about the coming storm that was Randall Cobb here at DLF this past off-season and recommended adding him as your teams WR3 then. If you did, you are giddy as a school girl knowing that you have a player with very legit WR1 potential starting as soon as next season. Always trying to stay ahead of the game, I want to compare two players who could be the next players to go from “building block” to “foundation” pieces of your dynasty teams.
I’m talking about T.Y. Hilton of the Indianapolis Colts and Cecil Shorts of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Both players had better than anticipated success in 2012 playing for teams that were not expected to do muc...

OLB Daryl Smith
ProFootballFocus’ 2nd ranked 4-3 outside linebacker in 2011, injuries limited Smith to just 117 snaps this season. Already one of the NFL’s most underrated players, he could be an excellent buy low candidate this season for a team in need of a new starter at outside linebacker, but he turns 31 in April, so that’s something to be aware of.
A Florida man has pleaded guilty to a fraud charge in a Los Angeles courtroom in connection with swindling about $2.3 million from Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney.
Michael Stern of Miami entered his plea Monday to a single count. He faces up to 10 years in prison when he's scheduled to be sentenced May 6.

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Marcedes Lewis was asked if he would want Tim Tebow on his team, and he gave an honest answer.
The Jacksonville Jaguars won two games last season, and were right behind the Chiefs with having the worst team in the league.
The Jaguars have lacked quality quarterback play to go along with some of the weapons that they do have. One such weapon is tight end Marcedes Lewis.

Jaguars general manager David Caldwell has been very transparent and upfront about the Jaguars' new draft strategy as they head towards the 2013 NFL draft in April. The Jaguars will draft for need at the top of the draft and possibly pick the "best available player" in the latter rounds of the event.
Under normal circumstances, there's a consensus top pick in...
1. Defensive End The Jacksonville Jaguars sent eight different defensive ends onto the field in 2012 in an effort to find someone who could get to the quarterback. All eight men failed, which means significant changes are coming this offseason. This will likely be the position the address with the No. 2 overall pick, potentially targeting Bjoern Werner or Damontre Moore. 2. Offensive...
