Before I get to my subject, seriously, people need to stop posting BS. It was funny at first but it's getting a bit too old. But anyways, according to a source(listed below), it seems that the Eagle fans should keep their hopes up and anticipate something good to happen in the next few days possibly weeks leading up to the draft. Obviously, the Cardinals are suffering due to their stupidity in giving a contract like Fitz has. If there isn't any substantial progress toward a new deal in the next week or so, the Cardinals might have no choice but to consider trading Fitzgerald. Furthermore, WR Anquan Boldin and his agent are just as interested in the amount Fitz' new deal might be, with Boldin expected to deservedly push hard for a new deal in line with whatever Fitzgerald ends up receiving. So in another words, Cardinals have two options: one, give Fitz a new deal with fat bonus and record high long term deal and then deal with Anquan's resentment and press for a new contract (which might lead to a trade for a lower value); two, trade Fitz (possible and most likely Philadelphia) for Lito and whatever draft pick[s] (god knows what) and have the Eagles' Tom Heckert and his people deal with Fitz new contract; plus, Boldin then can't complain about his contract since the Cards refused to restructure Fitz's contract. The best part is, the longer the Cards wait, the lower the value of Larry falls. Conversely, the longer the Cards wait, the higher the value of Lito gets. So it's in the Cardinals' front office's best interest to either restructure the deal quickly (which does not seem likely although they continue to deny so) or trade Larry before his value keeps dropping as other teams see that Cards are in a dire situation to trade him. Well, Eagle fans, keep your hopes up and hope that the Eagles don't trade for Roy Williams before the Cards decide to trade Larry. Give it a few days and rest from checking the rumors constantly. Lol
