Eagles 2024 schedule with game-by-game prediction: Philly looks to erase last year's disaster
Kim Klement Neitzel-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles 2024 schedule was officially released on Wednesday night.

We already know heading into this upcoming season that all eyes will be on head coach Nick Sirianni and his new coaching staff after the Eagles miserably dropped a 10-1 start last year.

If Sirianni wants to return in 2025, then he's going to need to start and finish strong, which is something the Eagles are more than capable of doing this year based on how their schedule has been laid out.

Below we'll take a look at some not-so-serious game-by-game predictions for the Eagles' 2024 NFL season.

Week 1 vs. Green Bay Packers

8:15 PM on Friday, September 6 in Brazil (Peacock/94WIP)

Eagles win 27-20: The stadium may be filled with Green Bay fans who make up a majority of the Brazilian NFL fanbase but the Eagles have a statement to make and they won't care who they're playing in front of as long as they win. If they don't get off on the right foot now and take down Jordan Love and the Packers, then it could be a very long season.

(1-0)

Week 2 vs. Atlanta Falcons

8:15 PM on Friday, September 16 (ESPN/94WIP)

Eagles win 34-28: The Eagles are under the lights for their home opener against the Falcons. Atlanta has struggled to be the Birds, losing five of their last six meetings. Now they have Kirk Cousins as their starting quarterback. And Cousins in primetime is never pretty.

(2-0)

Week 3 at New Orleans Saints

1:00 PM on Sunday, September 22 (FOX/94WIP)

Eagles win 40-19: The Saints are another NFC South team that doesn't have the best record versus the Eagles (16-19). There's also doubt that New Orleans' poor run defense will stand a chance against this Eagles backfield starring Saquon Barkley.

(3-0)

Week 4 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

1:00 PM on Sunday, September 29 (FOX/94WIP)

Eagles win 23-18:  The Eagles are out for revenge after losing brutally, 32-9, to the Bucs in the playoffs. No shot they let that happen again.

(4-0)

Week 5 BYE

Week 6 vs. Cleveland Browns

1:00 PM on Sunday, October 13 (FOX/94WIP)

Eagles win 27-23: The Eagles can't let their hot streak run out now, especially against a team with Deshaun Watson as their quarterback. Philly's defense gets rolling while their offense finds holes in Cleveland's D. It helps that they're well-rested following the bye week.

(5-0)

Week 7 at New York Giants

1:00 PM on Sunday, October 20 (FOX/94WIP)

Eagles lose 28-27: The Giants lost Saquon Barkley to the Eagles this year. They're not going to let him have the glory of winning on his old turf against his old team. If they do, then they'll probably lose the entire fanbase.

(5-1)

Week 8 at Cincinnati Bengals

4:25 PM on Sunday, October 27 (FOX/94WIP)

Eagles win 37-34: This is a game that everyone picks the Bengals to win, but the Eagles are embarrassed they lost to Daniel Jones so they pick up their slack against the almighty Joe Burrow.

(6-1)

Week 9 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

8:20 PM on Sunday, November 3 (NBC/94WIP)

Eagles win 31-24: The Eagles haven’t lost to the Jags since 2006 and they're going to try to keep it that way against Philly's former head coach Doug Pederson when he returns to the Linc.

(7-1)

Week 10 at Dallas Cowboys

4:25 PM on Sunday, November 10 (CBS/94WIP)

Eagles win 21-19: And here's the divisional rivalry that we know well and love. Kellen Moore gets his flowers on the road.

(8-1)

Week 11 vs. Washington Commanders

8:15 PM on Sunday, November 14 (Prime Video/94WIP)

Eagles lose 28-26: The Eagles might think they have it easy against a rookie QB but Commanders' Jayden Daniels should be comfortable in the pockey by now and be able to pull off his first upset.

(8-2)

Week 12 at Los Angeles Rams

8:20 PM on Sunday, November 24 (NBC/94WIP)

Eagles win 36-31: After another embarrassing loss, the Eagles must get it right on the road. It helps that LA's defense isn't the same without Aaron Donald.

(9-2)

Week 13 at Baltimore Ravens

4:25 PM on Sunday, December 1 (CBS/94WIP)

Eagles win 27-21: Yes, Lamar Jackson is good. But the Eagles' run and pass defense just got better.

(10-2)

Week 14 vs. Carolina Panthers

1:00 PM on Sunday, December 8 (FOX/94WIP)

Eagles win 36-9: At this point, it's hard to know who the Panthers' head coach and quarterback are.

(11-2)

Week 15 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

4:25 PM on Sunday, December 15 (FOX/94WIP)

Eagles win 31-21: It's a good thing this PA game is at the Linc. That advantage alone is going to be enough to get the Eagles over the final stretch of their season.

(12-2)

Week 16 at Washington Commanders

1:00 PM on Sunday, December 22 (FOX/94WIP)

Eagles win 28-20: The Eagles let Washington and the rookie QB win earlier in the year, but they'll remind them who the better team actually is this time.

(13-2)

Week 17 vs. Dallas Cowboys

4:25 PM on Sunday, December 29 (FOX/94WIP)

Eagles lose 20-17: The Cowboys won't let the Eagles get the clean sweep. That's just how they roll.

(13-3)

Week 18 vs. New York Giants

TBD (TBD/94WIP)

Eagles win 32-10: Finish strong is the Eagles' motto this season and they'll do that in Week 18 while Barkley goes off on his former team.

(14-3)
